Pool, spa & covered deck

Cool off in our lovely deep swimming pool, or warm up in our large spa pool on our covered deck. Enjoy a drink or meal on our poolside deck as the sun goes down. With outdoor speakers, fairy lights, heaters, and up-lit garden surrounds, our poolside area is a great place to hang out after a conference or before retiring to your room. Enjoy a round of cards or a game of fooseball, or catch up on emails in tranquil surrounds – our free Wi-Fi extends to the pool area!

Poolside Restaurant

Serving generous portions of classic Kiwi fare, there’s no need to leave Mount Richmond Hotel for a meal at the end of the day – our Poolside Restaurant offers a delicious menu to hotel and conference guests as well as general public. Dine-in, dine alfresco or enjoy our hearty dishes in the comfort of your room. Open seven days for breakfast & dinner, and fully licensed too. Enjoy our private gym, so you can stay in shape while away from your usual routine at home. Treadmill, rowing machine, stationary bike, free weights and a weight machine are all available for guest use. If you prefer to train outdoors, the Mount Richmond Domain makes for a wonderful run or walk.

Tennis courts & bikes

Located next to Mount Richmond Hotel is the Otahuhu Tennis Club and it’s available for guest use. We’ve got rackets and balls that you can borrow, or bring your own. Simply ask reception for a key to the courts and enjoy a game. We have bikes available for guests to hire – for fitness, travel or leisure purposes.

Conference & Events Centre

Mount Richmond Hotel offers one of Auckland’s most affordable venues for conferences and events such as weddings, birthday parties and other celebrations. With a team of dedicated catering and events staff, and a range of furniture and decorations available, we’re able to make your event one to remember. “The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. It was the perfect escape for a night away from home. Close to restaurants at Sylvia Park. There was an event on in the conference centre but we never heard a thing.”
